Cox,
Mr. Clyde M. (Bud),Beloved father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at The Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medical Center.
Age 65 years. The son of the late Clyde and Esther (Reinke) Cox, Clyde was born January 22, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan.
He
served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne, 62nd special weapons battalion in Fort Bragg from 1956 through 1959. Bud had been employed
by Grey Iron Foundry and Saginaw Valley Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church, American Blind
Veterans and Michigan State Alumni Association.
Bud
enjoyed reading, composing poems and was a member of the foster grandparent program at the public schools. Surviving
are two sons, three daughters and their spouses, Mark Matthew Cox, Dundee, Michigan; Steven J. Cox, PhD. and his wife, Tommie,
Washington State; Bonnie Ann Riha, Saginaw; Patricia May and Thomas Brooks, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mary Beth and Brian Aimesberry,
Grayling; seven grandchildren; one sister, Patricia and Allan Bader, Saginaw; one brother, Michael and Roxann Cox, Lake St.
Helen; two brothers-in-law, Karl Gawne, Lake St. Helen; Larry Davis, Federal Way, Washington; a sister-in- law, Mary Ellen
Sieggreen, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Clyde was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, William J. Cox,
Kenneth Sieggreen, Carol C. Gawne and Maxine Davis. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 16,
2004 at St. Josaphat Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Military
services will be conducted by V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck
and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Josaphat Catholic Church
on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those
planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medical Center or St. Josaphat Catholic
Church Endowment Fund.
